The Traffic Accident Prevention Support Research and Development Consortium, in which Nippon Signal Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hidehiko Tsukamoto) participates, will conduct a demonstration experiment to support visually impaired people at crossing traffic lights using walking assistance technology. This demonstration experiment will be conducted in collaboration with the Visually Impaired Crossing Traffic Lights Project, Miraikan, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, Computer Science Laboratory, Inc., Ashirase Co., Ltd., and the Inagaki Laboratory of the Department of Urban Engineering at Tokyo City University.
